Participating Teams in the 2018 Angry Birds AI Competition
We currently have 9 registered teams from 9 different countries.
Improved versions from past participants:
1. Eagle's Wing 2018 (USA, 2017 champion)
2. BamBirds (Germany, 2016 champion)
3. IHSEV (France, 2017 and 2016 finalist)
4. AngryHex (Italy/Austria/Germany, 2017 semi-finalist)
5. PlanA+ (Korea Republic, 2017 semi-finalist)
New participants:
6. MYTBirds (Ritsumeikan University, Japan)
7. MetaBirds (Ben Gurion University, Israel)
8. DQ-Birds (Charles University, Czech Republic)
plus the defending champion:
9. Eagle's Wing 2017 (2017 version unmodified).
The three new teams will each give a detailed presentation of their approaches as part of the AI competition on July 17. MYT Birds and DQ-Birds are both based on Deep Reinforcement Learning, while Meta-Birds is a meta agent that combines multiple different approaches.
